ABSTRACT
Roots of extreme risk phenomena lie in the relationship between assuring the survival of the population and the environment. Starting with this dichotomy, there are different levels of risk acceptable to the degree of economic and social development of the territory. An information system used for monitoring environmental changes in the case of landslides has as support risk and hazard maps produced by surveying, topographic, photogrammetric and satellite methods. The information system proposed in this paper wants to become a decision support tool for the authorities in case of changes on the environment in case of landslides.
