ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this paper was to do a topographical cadastral survey in order to achive
the Zonal Urban Plan in Ghiroda village, Timis county, Romania. The total measured
area was 2,45 ha. Ghiroda village is situated in Timis Plain, Banat region, basically flooded area of the Bega river. In the structure of the village are practically two villages: Ghiroda, the main village and Giarmata the other village. Also, Ghiroda is 5 km East from Timisoara. The national road Timisoara-Bucuresti provide access from Timisoara. The village area is over 80 ha.
Topographical surveys were made using GPS technology: Leica 1200. The method used for this survey was RTK Satellite in real time. The Permanent Station
Timisoara(TIMISOARA_Ref 0000) was used as a main GPS coordinates point for the
topographical tracing work.
Data processing was made using Leica Geo Office software. The points from the field
were introduced AutoCad 2014 and then they were made the tracing plans.
Coordinates WGS 1984 were converted in stereographic 1970 coordinates, using
TransDatRO 4.04 software which was given by The National Agency for Cadastre and
Land Registration.
In order to achive the documents necessary for the Zonal Urban Plan, they were
