Maximum quantity of radon was found among performed analyses of atmosphere and groundwater in Rostov region. 80% of springs have high quantity of radon (over 200 Bk/dm³) in Remontnensky district (south-east of Rostov region) while average quantity of radon in Rostov region is 65 Bk/dm³ and 32 Bk/dm³ for city Rostov-on-Don. Seasonal variation in the change of radon quantity was found. More high concentration was noticed in autumn-winter time. The reason for this is Maikop clay, which has high concentration of radon in them. Due to this factor as well as high evaporation appears a geochemical change of nature. General level diseases analyze shows high correlation between cancer and quantity of radon. During six years level of cancer diseases is 17-21%, respiratory cancer is 63% and stomach cancer consists 21%. It was found that in districts that situated on Maikop clay in houses there is high level of radon. This research gives us an opportunity to change building characteristics of houses.
