ABSTRACT
One of the major requirements imposed for agricultural sprinkling machines is to ensure the stability of liquid rate. Non-compliance of prescribed liquid rate may have adverse consequences on treatment efficiency and environmental pollution with plant protection substances. This important requirement can be achieved only by equipping sprayers with automatic control systems of working parameters. Equipping sprinkling machinery with electronic adjustment systems has imposed testing on adequate stands, in laboratory conditions of these types of systems. Testing in laboratory had as purpose establishing the performances of the adjustment system, from the point of the quality of adjusting process, as well as the consequences of inertia that characterizes the control system. Experiments were performed simulating the real working process of a sprayer, serviced by an electronic regulator, for a progressive and constant variation regime of displacement velocity.
