THE VISUALIZATION OF GEOGRAPHIC OBJECTS IN EDUCATION PROCESSES AND ITS APPLICATION IN PRE-GRADUAL EDUCATION OF FUTURE GEOGRAPHY TEACHER

ABSTRACT
Contemporary curriculums of different level of education put emphasis in their output. In this context, the basal aim of the geographical education is considering the development of geographical literacy, and the development of geographical thinking. The features of geographically literate man are geographical knowledge, geographical skills, geographical attitudes, and specific geographical thinking. For fulfilling of this aim has also required the changes of pre-gradual training of future geography teachers. The main attention is dedicated to the subject-didactic competencies from the complex competencies that are developed through study. We consider, that important part of contemporary study is theoretical and practical acquiring of innovative methods. This innovative methods in the teaching will not only develop the theoretical knowledge, but they will also develop critical thinking, digital competencies, and the ability to deal with problems, communication and cooperation. In contribution, we deal with problematic visualisation of geographical objects. This implement is one of the most effective tools of the geographical thinking´s development. We point out the importance and the differences of achieving the educational effect thankful to production and the usage of traditional manual constructed geographical models and digital models. We also emphasize the need of implementation, usage of models into the university studies for future geography teacher in the University of Prešov in Prešov.
