ABSTRACT
In Romania a new version of the technical regulation became effective „P100-1:2013 - Seismic Design Code, Part 1 - Earthquake Resistant Design of buildings”. The bridge structure under study is part of a 19 spans road crossing with different static schemes. The studied section is a three span frame bridge. The bridge is still in use and therefore, a reassessment of the structural response has been proposed in perspective of the development in the field of technical regulations. The article discussed three topics: (i) presenting the main changes in the new Seismic Design Code, (ii) presenting specific elements of design bridges National Annex, (iii) reassessment of the bridge structural response to seismic action. Structural analysis is performed in elastic and inelastic range and the bridge is considered no or limited ductility.
