HIGH STRENGTHS MORTARS REALIZED THROUGH SILICA FUME RECYCLING

ABSTRACT
Into this paper are presents the experimental researches to obtain repair mortars. It is a special mortar and is realized using cement, silica fume, sand, water and superplasticizer. The compressive strengths have values between 20-35 N/mm2 at 1 day and between 70-100 N/mm2 at 28 days. The bending tensile strengths have values around 5 N/mm2 at 1 day and around 10 N/mm2 at 28 days; in function of compressive and bending tensile strengths the special mortars researched can be framed into high strengths mortars. This type of special mortars can be used like repair mortars. By recycling of silica fume we can help to protect the environment.
