SYNERGY BETWEEN PROGRESSIVE INDOOR ENVIRONMENT COOLING AND PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

ABSTRACT
In the European Union is an increasing trend of human mortality due to high temperatures during the summer months. This fact forces us to think about the possibilities of how to reduce this number. One option is to use cooling system in a building.
On the other hand, there is the issue of energy consumption in buildings. In our conditions cooling is used as a supplemental system of indoor environmental engineering. This means an increase in annual energy balance of the whole building. Use of solar energy and its transformation into electricity using photovoltaic system allows us to reduce the overall energy consumption of the building.
The article discusses the issue of prediction of electric energy production using photovoltaic system. The procedure and results of photovoltaic system simulation model are subjected to comparisons between measurement, simulation and calculation methods. In regard to results of the comparison is established simulation model of produced electricity for the buildings. Within indoor environmental engineering system is installed in a building as a source of cooling. In conclusion, energy balance evaluated the electricity consumption coverage of cooling system using photovoltaic system.
