ABSTRACT
The present paper addresses the rapid change processes of the ecological status from the coastal eco-systems, induced by the fast sedimentation / erosion processes, determined by the combined action of the hydrological regime of the Danube and marina agitation factors, increasing under the influence of the current climate change.
The paper presents some results of a substantiation study on the hydro-geological and hydro-bio-geomorphic, river, delta, marine and coastal environment, as well as the ecosystem state assessment of this natural and built area from the Romanian Black Sea shore.
The analysis/modeling actions and the simulation of the natural hydro-geomorphological processes, as well as the analysis processes modified / induced by the anthropogenic factor, including the probable impact/evolution assessment of the deltaic ecosystem / coastal affected ecosystem were developed, in order to highlight the viable solutions that enable an efficient and sustainable management and renaturation of the Romanian coastal vulnerable areas.
The evolution of the marine agitation factors, which are of crucial importance in the deltas and lagoons formation, extending a multi-criteria complex analysis on the response processes of the coast to the action of the marine agitation factors with ecological impacts from interested area, is highlighted. Accordingly, the final results of the hydro-bio-geo-morphological processes study of the shallow area allow the intervention opinions and the efficient management of the biotic and abiotic resources from the coastal system, based on the changes knowledge at different scales of the climatic conditions determined by the environment and reflected in different coastal ecosystem status indicators.
