VOCATIONAL VOCABULARY USED AT SELECTED WORKPLACES OF THE BНLINA MINES

ABSTRACT
The national language is one of the most important symbols of the nation. Czech language is a rich and sophisticated language as well and it consists of literary and colloquial layer and its departments. Part of the colloquial layer is also slang and professionalism.
Our lecture deals with the professional speech at the coal mine Bilina. The lecture was preceded by a two-year study, which looked at how the workers of the mines Bílina understand the mining terms, how often do they use them and whether they created their own professional speech typical for this working place.
In our lecture we will introduce the workplace itself and its history. We also mention the history of the development of mining argot in Bohemia and we familiarize the recepients with the research results. We will introduce also those words that have not been published in any of the used dictionaries yet.
