WORK EXPERIENCE IN ROMANIA AND EFFICIENCY OF THE DEEP DRAINAGE SYSTEMS USING THE ELECTRO-PNEUMATIC DRAINS

ABSTRACT
The article submission is based on relevant aspects about the efficiency and performance of the electro-pneumatic drains, as a result acquired on sites in Romania, in over 8 years of experience of designing, execution and monitoring these drainage systems. The practicability range of the electro-pneumatic drains, among the deep vertical drainage systems as applied methods on lowering ascending groundwater’s level, is varied: used in residential or commercial areas, roads and access ways subjected of serious buildings or monuments’ damages or landslides. The paper also describe the results obtained from direct or remote monitoring, on main sites realized so far in Romania.
