ABSTRACT

In work carried out by graduates of the Faculty of Geodesy there is a need of more well defined legal knowledge to use. This was highlighted by meetings with business representatives from different development regions of Romania. There are surveying graduates working as technical legal experts, for example. They encountered a number of problems to be properly assessed and addressed. Therefore knowledge of legislative issues and fundamentals of professional ethics are essential for quality assurance of the activities, hence the place of these disciplines in the specialized curriculum.
