POSSIBILITIES FOR ENERGY SAVINGS BY OPTIMIZING VENTILATION HEAT LOSS IN THE KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOMS IN NIS-SERBIA

ABSTRACT

The paper examines the possibilities of energy savings from the aspect of optimizing ventilation heat losses in the existing kindergarten classrooms in Nis - Serbia. Analysis of typical kindergarten models in this area was conducted based on the characteristic influential factors with regard to the classrooms and current standards in the field of ventilation heat losses.
Baseline of standards that regulate this area relates to the optimal air exchange parameters. The real parameters of air exchange are perceived having in mind the overall quality of the embedded windows in the existing kindergarten classrooms. The values of energy consumption and energy savings are defined by the introduction of the minimum air exchange parameters in the calculation. With regard to ventilation heat losses the optimal boundaries are defined within which the kindergartens would be energy - efficient.
