ABSTRACT

The paper presents some results of research, obtained by the institute INOE 2000-IHP Bucharest, Romania, to promoting equipment for solar photovoltaic technologies, in order to use the solar renewable energy. The article presents few pneumatic or hydraulic actuation/guidance automation devices (solar tracking systems) used in equipment for the conversion of solar energy directly into electricity. It also presents some practical systems to achieve guidance devices based on pneumatic or hydraulic actuation practiced worldwide, and finally presents some own technical solutions, designed in the institute, which can be extrapolated and transferred to industry.
