ABSTRACT

The evaluation of the air quality in the revitalized locality of the Most Lake is one part of the complex project “Impacts of a hydrological open-cast mine reclamation on the microclimate, air quality, water and soil ecosystems” supported by the Czech technological agency under No. TA 1020592. The project is based on the unique opportunity of an ongoing hydrological reclamation of the open residual pit of the opencast mine Most-Ležáky, which significantly exceeds all reclamations carried out in the Czech Republic in the past. The project started in the year 2011 and it was scheduled for 4 years. The article gives overview of the current results from the period of one and half year from 6/2011 to 12/2012
