ABSTRACT

Contracting is a method of third-party financing with a variety of specific characteristics. More specifically, energy contracting is a process of contracting out defined tasks to third parties (outsourcing) for purposes including, but not limited to, investment in optimization processes provided by the energy services industry and relevant projects the Client cannot or does not want to undertake. The term contracting describes cooperation models and service concepts for implementation of environmentally compatible and rational energy conversion and conservation measures and technologies.
