FINDING SPECIES OF IMPURITY IN THE MINERAL ON ITS PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

ABSTRACT

Based on analysis of the electronic configuration of the impurity in minerals have a
crystalline structure such as NiAs (eg, pyrrhotite), a correlation of electrical
conductivity, density impurity atoms, and the density cation vacancies. The density
cation vacancies increases with the total density of the impurity atoms increases, thus
reducing the conductivity of the crystal decrease. Shown that the nature of these
phenomena - decrease in the concentration of electrons in the conduction zone as a
result of the capture of an electron vacancy impurity atoms. On the basis of calculations
of the density impurity investigated the properties of anionic impurity atoms and
analyzed the mechanism of isomorphic substitution of sulfur ions in the structure of
pyrrhotite.
