ABSTRACT

To succeed in today’s workplace an engineer needs to have foreign language skills, and
here English is often considered to be preferable. The Personnel Management Policy of
OAO Tatneft is aimed at creating an integrated system of continuing education,
continuous improvement and development of the employees. The Company welcomes
the desire of employees to self-development and improving the level of professionalism.
The training facilities of the company involve a system of training centers and programs
and modern equipment that allows to improve the qualifications, to obtain new skills
and improve the competence. In this system English e-learning course is very popular
among petroleum engineers of all divisions of the company because it offers the
opportunity to learn asynchronously or offline.
