ABSTRACT

The report presents the results of investigation of corrosion resistance Cr-SiO2 nanocomposition
electrolytic coatings (nano-CEC) in oil solution of «Zhanazhol» deposit.
Protection of construction steel 17Г1C was carried out by electric precipitation of nanocomposition
electrolytic coatings.
Atom-force microscopy investigations have shown that there are nano-sized particles of
SiO2 in chromium matrix. Metallographic researches were carried out for an
establishing the reasons of essentially differences in corrosion resistance of nano- CEC
received at various electroplating temperatures. The results of corrosion investigation
show, that the best corrosion resistance has nano-CEC received at 333 K temperature.
