ABSTRACT

This work deals with spatial planning, geographic information systems and fuzzy logic.
Fuzzy approach is used as the link between geographic information systems and spatial
planning; it’s practical realization in selecting of location in regulation plan is presented.
Fuzzy logic, applied to solve these problems, enables search of space in order to find
optimal solutions to satisfy the demand of investors. Fuzzy logic plays a key role in
situations that indicates a need for simple way of presenting characteristics of available
building parcels. Result of search is thematic map whose contents are the characteristics
of building parcels within the plan.
