ABSTRACT

Realization of electro-energy balance in Republic of Serbia is mainly conditioned by
production from thermo capacitates, and for that it is crucial to provide sufficient
amounts of fuel - coal.
Thus, it is necessary to plan opening of new exploitation fields within area of
Kolubara’s mine, as main suppliers of Power plant “Nikola Tesla”.
Development of future open cast mine “Radljevo”, which is natural extension of mine
“Tamnava-West field” in part of Tamnava deposit within Kolubara coal basin, represent
base for future continuation of the coal exploatation for the purposes of electric
production.
The fact that those two mines are bordering require an analyses of their interaction in
phases of development for the first and further exploitation of the second.
