The main source of funding is the Federal budget, which contributes just under 80% to the financing of all projects.
The scientific direction "Development of science and technologies of development of the Arctic" is in the lead about ongoing projects, according to which the amount of funding in 2017 amounted to 20% more than in 2016. In the same proportions, the amount of funding in the scientific direction "Public administration of social and economic development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation" increased.
