METHANOL TO GASOLINE TRANSFORMATION PROCESS STUDY IN ONE AND TWO STEPS REACTOR SET UP

ABSTRACT
The decrease of traditional fuel resources lead to research intensification in field of synthetic fuel synthesis. Modern methodologies of liquid fuels obtaining from biomass includes Fisher-Tropsch route, biomass to methanol transformation followed by methanol to gasoline process, biomass pyrolysis with further upgrading of obtained liquid fuel and cellulose liquification process. These processes are characterized by huge amounts of technical and chemical difficulties that withstands there ubiquitous implementation. Methanol to gasoline process can be considered as one of the most prospective method for biomass transformation to liquid fuels. Methanol to gasoline process was first discovered by Mobil in early 70th, since that time a lot of work was done for process intensification and optimization. However catalysts deactivation in different regimes of operation can be considered us one of the main unsolved problem of this process. Therefore investigation of catalysts behavior in different reaction conditions is of great interest for this process. The article is devoted to investigation of methanol to gasoline synthesis process and study of reaction conditions influence over liquid products formation process. The influence of reaction conditions are shown and discussed.
