ABSTRACT
Peatlands in North of Slovakia, Mutne and Klin, also Oil spring Korna in Kysuce region in North of Slovakia, are very interesting nature reservations because of not only their specific flora, natural condition biological, geological and chemical characteristic. Microbial communities have potential to show different ways of cooperation, symbiotic and mutualistic relation depend on environment conditions. Four soil peatlands samples and four oil spring samples were taken. Bacterial dissemination of the culture on rich culture medium, some of microorganisms were determined. Cultivation on MacConkey agar and Gram-staining divided bacteria strais between gramnegative and grampositive. Biochemical tests, like indol and oxidase were done. Species like Bacillus flexus, Serratia liquefaciens, in pealtland samples, Serratia fonticola, Pseudomonas chlorarophis, in oil samples were determined. In crude oil spring samples several kinds of mosses were determined, like Brachythecium mildernum, Calliergonella cuspicata, Rhytidiadelphus squarrosus. Microbial communities of peatlands can be useful like indicators of environment conditions quality. Crude oil microbial communities together with mosses seem to be useful in bioremediation processes. Several microorganisms can use diverse alkanes as carbon and energy source, despite of tendency to accumulate alkanes in cell membranes. Possible bioremediation way can be also special rhizosphere-microorganisms communities, or biofilms.
