REMOVAL OF SALTS OF HOLMIUM (III) FROM MONO- AND MULTICOMPONENT SOLUTIONS

ABSTRACT
The primary task of the work is to investigate the possibility of using methods of extraction for the concentration of target components from dilute aqueous solutions. Anionic surfactant - sodium dodecyl sulfate (C12H25OSO3) was used at the work. The test solutions were individual which contained cations of holmium (III) and summary with cations of joint presence of samarium (III), europium (III) and erbium (III). Dependences of the distribution coefficients and the degree of recovery dodecyl sulfate holmium on the pH of the equilibrium aqueous phase are received. Studies have shown efficient recovery of holmium dodecyl sulfates by extraction. Dodecyl sulfates holmium in the organic phase at acidity equal to 4.0 is maximum recovered in the extraction.
