STATISTICAL ANALYSES OF WATER LEVEL OF OHRID LAKE

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we consider the oscillations of the water level of Ohrid lake as a hydrological feature. The data are measured from the measurement station for water level in Ohrid. We analyze the average (maximum and minimum) annual water levels from 1924 to 2005 year. Missing data for a few years are replaced by mean of suitable decade. Regarding whole period 1924-2005, we found that the linear trend is decreasing, although it is increasing or constant for some decades. Also, using cluster analyses we classify the years according closeness of water level.
