ABSTRACT

As proven many times, a faulty system for the recording of data collected from surveys can cause major problems for the public and for the local administration, leading to a waste of human and material efforts. There are also cases in which various different institutions store and use information that is identical but that they collect and store by their own means and methods, which causes differences between the information recorded. The present paper aims at presenting the modernization of land registry projects through the gradual implementation of an information system that is in close connection to the surveying system for data reception and conveying. Thus, we can have a modern and efficient land registration system.
