ABSTRACT

In recent years major advances in monitoring processes of sectoral control systems have
been observed as well as the lack of interoperability of spatial information systems. In the frame of the EuroGEOSS project interoperability between Drought Management Centre for South-Eastern Europe (DMCSEE) and European Drought Observatory (EDO) has been developed. For interoperability processes open source tools and Open
Geo-data Interoperability Specifications (OpenGIS) were used.
