MATERIALS WITH FLY ASH FOR ROADS INFRASTRUCTURES

ABSTRACT

This paper presents the experimental research regarding the materials with big quantity
of fly ash which can be used to road infrastructure. The fly ash is obtained from
Timisoara Power Plant, Romania. The low cement percent are used to activate the
components of fly ash. There are obtained materials with compression strength between
3 - 6 N/mm2. The new materials with fly ash are physical and mechanical characteristics
which recommended to road infrastructures and like a chip price.
Big quantity of fly ash used will protect the environment.
