ABSTRACT

In the presented paper preliminary results of ground deformation analysis within the
mining area of an active “Prosper-Haniel” coal mine was presented. The coal mine is
located in the west part of Germany. The presented analysis was done using DInSAR
(Differential Interferometry Synthetic Aperture Radar). The DInSAR analysis was
performed for eight time intervals from year 2008. In the analysis pairs of SAR
ENVISAT data with temporal baselines from 35 to 350 days were used. For each of
eight analysed time intervals the differential interferograms, maps of coherency and
ground motions (in LOS direction) were prepared.
