ABSTRACT

Corridor Vc is the most important route through Bosnia and Herzegovina. Passes the
central part of the state, mostly along the valley of the Bosna and Neretva rivers. In the
north of the state Vc coming from Croatia, and in the southern part of re-entering
Croatia. Length of the corridor through Bosnia and Herzegovina is about 336 km.
Conducted field research yielded results from which are defined by geology engineering
and geomechanical properties. The diversity of rock masses, or mapped units that
participate in the consideration of the terrain along the section, reflect the heterogeneity
of the lithological composition and anisotropy of tectonic assembly.
Engineering geological classification is based on litogenetskim criteria, ie the
exploration of the terrain and knowing the relationship between engineering properties
and characteristics of separate units litogenetskih engineering soil, mapped as the basic
unit.
