ABSTRACT

Penetration probes were developed and tested for a continual or cyclic measurement of
the inner temperature and determination of basic components of endogenous air of
poured brown coal at large capacity deposit bodies of quarries, heat and power stations.
The probes were designed to enable air pumping into sampling vessels (bags) as well as
the following laboratory analysis of accompanying gases. The results were achieved in
the second stage of the TAČR grant project No. TA01020351
