THE CORRELATION BETWEEN STUDENT’S CREATIVITY AND STUDENT’S PERFORMANCE

ABSTRACT
The aim of this paper is to discuss the correlation between students’ creativity and
students’ performance at vocational studies. The research seeks to define educational
performance by considering multidimensional nature of creativity.
This research aimed at exploring the relationship between self-esteem and academic
performance by using creativity inventory. To this end, a research has been conducted
on the students of vocational studies (n=312) in Istanbul. According to the results, a
weak relationship (r<0,42) was revealed between creativity and academic performance.
