ABSTRACT

The paper presents some results of research and development, obtained by the institute
and its partners, to promoting advanced technologies and equipment for wood waste
recycling, in order to obtain the ecological compost used for developing a sustainable
and ecological agriculture. At the beginning, there is presented mobile wood chipper
equipment, for fragmentation and shredding of wood branches resulting from activities
of grooming / trimming of trees and shrubs in agricultural areas, orchards and forestry.
In the second part, there is presented other equipment for the preparation and
mechanized processing of the waste, in order to obtain the ecological compost used to
develop sustainable agriculture, with favorable effects on the environment and achieve
ecological agricultural products, for the healthy feeding of the population. Both
equipments are integrated into a well-structured technological workflow that allows
obtaining by mechanized manner, of large amounts of organic compost which is
necessary for the development of sustainable agriculture and to have healthy food.

Keywords: recycling, wood waste, ecological compost, sustainable agriculture, food
