ABSTRACT
The territory of our country in terms of cutting geological consists of different
geological rocks of all ages from the Quaternary Neoproterozoic up. Magmata’s, and
movement of plates that includes the Mediterranean region in earlier geologic eras led
to large-scale geomorphologic and geotectonic reconstruction of the whole region in
general and including the region of Kosovo. The impact of these events in the wider
region that exceeds the boundaries of our state led to the formation of provinces
metallogenetic important for many geological research of the geology specialist for
mineralization types of changes related to different geological structures and different
types of rocks. In our territory and the vast area surrounding the deposit formed Reqak
are significant deposits of useful minerals. Seeing the importance of the use of iron and
its vast consumption of the daily needs of his use of alloys, construction and various
working mechanisms, the use of mineralization type of iron oolitic character
development specific to the country’s economy and represents the professional duty to
study iron and performances mineralization about deposit and beyond. The purpose of
this paper has been the study of several presentations mineralization oolitic iron in the
Drenica area with special emphasis on the location of Reqak and determination of the
geological characteristics of the studied terrain
