Thematic workshops will be conducted as a parallel to the conference events. There is no additional fee for these workshops, but you have to register in advance as a DELEGATE or a LECTURER. (see participation forms & fees)

The Workshop part of the event will offer a series of tutorials and lectures, introducing tools and basic results from a variety of research areas of geoscience. It aimed to rise awareness of environmental issues and to discuss some aspects of theoretical developments and their application.

Participative Workshops are planned on the main themes and topics listed below, although any workshop speaker could consider to add/predefine some topics or subtopics associated with the Conference themes in general.

Workshops speakers will present short case studies of best practice and innovation in the field, highlight recent experiences and then stimulate debate over the practical and policy implications of the presentations.  These sessions will be an opportunity for delegates to exchange views and learn about best practice in environmental researches application and management, whilst networking with other delegates in the same field of interest.
