ABSTRACT
The tailing dumps of concentrating mills are specific ground massifs in pe5rmafrost
areas. Such massifs impact on the geological environment. They are the important
deposits, namely the sources of the rare metals in the Norilsk industrial area. The
process engineering of the permafrost tailing dump mining is discussed in this paper
based on the study of the artificial cryolythogenesis.
Keywords: cryolythozone, tailing dump, cryolythogenesis, dredger, mining
