ABSTRACT
In the present paper theme of estimation of forest susceptibility take on degradation was
taken. Until this time this problem wasn’t identified enough in literature (see
Kowalkowska i in., 1995). That is the reason why author concentrates on presentation of
new proposal of system of estimate forest state.
Forests has been analyzed as elements of natural environments (system). In such
captivation it is possible to follow co-dependences and interactions individual
components between them. The investigative area was the smallest National Park in
Poland – National Park Promno.
It carry analysis in elaboration of elements of forests characteristics. On base of
accepted methods of research it evaluate following factors
forming sensitivity of woods on anthropopressure: type of forests habitat, habitat state,
dominating tree species, trees age, percentage participation of one dominating tree
species, soil humidity, surface geological structure, slopes, distance from main routes
and big cities. The investigation of each element and their connection by using multielemental
method (Rykowski, 1990) allows to produce complex estimation of
susceptibility of forests on anthropopressure and indicate areas particularly exposed on
degradation.
The analysis was carried for smallest forest parts in Polish forests administration (subunits),
which allows to make the evaluation of National Park Promno very exact.
